Olcya is a small IT consulting firm that collaborated with major companies like BNP Paribas.

Achievements

Internal

Created an auto-scaling project demo used by Olcya to showcase its expertise in modern DevOps technologies.
Version 1 consisted of a Terraform playbook with:
- A traffic generator using a charge playbook.
- An AWS load balancer.
- A front-end that scales dynamically with load.
- An HDFS shared disk between front-end instances for Hadoop data collection.
- A Grafana dashboard displaying insights from Hadoop-collected data.

BNP Paribas

Automated a complex data collection process using Splunk, Ansible and Python.
Developed scripts to automate checks and installations of the Splunk agent at BNP Paribas in KSH.
Streamlined daily repetitive tasks for the Splunk team through automation with Python.
