When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a communist." — Dom Helder Camara Why a Documentation-Based Résumé? --------------------------------- I used to feel frustrated writing my résumé. I have so much to share, yet so little space to do so. It's really hard to know if I’ll be the right fit for you based solely on a list of skills. So, I decided to craft my résumé with Sphinx. This approach gives me the freedom to present myself how I want, talk about what truly matters, and help you better understand who I am and whether I could be a good fit for your team. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 :caption: Contents :hidden: rst-files/experience-perso.rst rst-files/experience-pro.rst How Is This Résumé Built? ------------------------- This résumé is powered by Sphinx using the reStructuredText (RST) file format. Below is a brief overview of its architecture. The content is stored in a private Git repository, while Sphinx runs inside a container managed by K3s on my local Raspberry Pi. Whenever I update it, the system automatically removes the existing container, reinstantiates it, and pulls the latest version from my repository. A Bash script then links everything properly, allowing the final HTML to be generated from there. Who Am I? --------- First things first, let me introduce myself. I'm Romain—nice to meet you! I live in a small town called Marciac, which you might know if you're a jazz fan—it hosts one of the biggest jazz festivals in France, lasting three weeks during July and August. I enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while still having access to most of the services you’d expect in a city ten times bigger… Yes, I’m lucky. I love going on walks with my dog, Thea (*if you're lucky, I might post a picture of her!*), playing board and video games, and playing basketball. I also have a cat, Oslo, though he mostly sticks to playing, hunting, eating, and sleeping… Definitely a cat. Here, I’ll try to give you a deeper understanding of who I am through my personal projects. .. include:: rst-files/experience-perso.rst .. include:: rst-files/experience-pro.rst
